Meals On Wheels Food Drive

First United CU is assisting organizations like Hand2Hand, Meals on Wheels, and the Grandville Library- as well as members in need October 10 for CU KIND Day.

We want to do what feels right for our community and have been drawn to participate in a food drive for Meals on Wheels for the month of October. We have boxes in our lobby that we ask your help to fill by October 31,2022.

Items that are needed would include:

FOOD ITEMS

Low-sugar cereal
Low-sugar canned fruits
Low-sodium canned vegetables
Low-sodium soups
Canned protein (i.e. tuna, beans peanut butter)
Pasta products
100% juice
Tomato products
Fresh fruits & vegetables

PERSONAL CARE ITEMS & PET FOOD

Toilet paper
Paper towel
Kleenex
Shampoo & conditioner
Soap
Toothpaste & toothbrushes
Adult diapers
Cleaning supplies
Dog & Cat Food

MICROWAVES NEEDED

We are in need of additional microwaves for our seniors to have for heating their meals. We have requests for microwaves from our seniors since it is easier than using an oven. We accept used or new appliances to distribute to those that are in need.
