OUR GOALS IN A NUTSHELL:

Spreading Kindness  ♥  Creating Awareness  ♥  Impacting Communities

CU Kind is almost here!

Watch for First United Credit Union employees doing random acts of kindness in the community on Monday, October 10, 2022. We’re joining more than 70 credit unions across the State of Michigan to highlight the credit union difference. We’ll be spreading random acts of kindness — donating, volunteering, and investing in the communities we serve.

First United CU teams will assist organizations like Hand2Hand, Meals on Wheels, and the Grandville Library — as well as members in need. The goal is to help those who could really use it!

We want to do what feels right for our community.

Giving back to you makes us different from other financial institutions. This annual day of kindness is our chance to show neighborhoods throughout Michigan how much credit unions care.

Look for the hashtag #CUKind on social media. We invite you to join us in giving back on October 10th!

Why #CUKind?

The Illinois Credit Union League founded CU Kind Day in 2019. Since then, the Minnesota Credit Union Network, the Cornerstone League, and the League of Southeastern Credit Unions have taken part in their own statewide day of kindness. In 2021, 66 Illinois credit unions joined forces on CU Kind Day, bringing together 2,700 volunteers, supporting 322 community organizations, and generating more than $80,000 in goods and donations.

These huge acts of kindness inspired us — and more than 70 credit unions in Michigan — to join in on the fun of CU Kind Day!
