CoronaVirus Safety Updates

Updated: With the updated information from Governor Whitmer as of 3/23/20 on the “stay at home order” we want our members to feel safe knowing that credit unions are an essential service during this crisis and they are open to serving members, even though in-person services are restricted at this time to keep our members and employees safe and healthy. Rest assured your funds in the credit union are also insured by the NCUA.

For the safety of our members and employees, beginning Wednesday, March 18, we have temporarily closed our lobby until further notice, but WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR BUSINESS via our phones, drive-thru and our mobile access. Our loan department is OPEN and ready to close your loan remotely.

Looking for Financial Relief? We are here to help, click here for more information.

Members that need to meet with a Financial Partner or Loan Officer, can continue to do so by appointment only. Our drive-thru WILL remain open.

For the safety of our members and employees, we realize that digital banking may be the recommended option over the next several weeks.

We are also highly recommending that our members use our digital tools for their banking needs during this time. Members can access their account(s) 24/7 through both Online Banking and Mobile Banking to check balances, transfer funds, pay bills, deposit checks, find an ATM, and much more. The First United Mobile app is available for free in both the App Store as well as the Google Play Store.

Transactions can be done remotely in many ways:

  • Drive-up service
  • Co-op ATMs for cash withdrawals and deposits free of charge
  • Night drop
  • RDC (Remote Deposit Capture)
  • Online and Mobile Banking
  • Call us by phone for transfers and payments

  • Online Account Opening
